counseling services for women & couples
What is confusing can be understood. Trauma and loss can be transformed. Relationships can be healed.
It's not magic; it's the science of psychology. I provide a safe place for you to explore, understand, and become your best self. Together, we will listen deeply to understand the issues that are keeping you stuck in self-defeating patterns, causing you distress, and blocking joy.
When you become aligned with your authentic self, you will enjoy more ease, connection, and flow. Often, the hardest step is the first one: reaching out. You may want to begin with a free phone conversation to see if we are a good fit. Contact me to get started.

My passion is to walk along side individuals, couples, and families as they navigate the journey of living and loving well. My therapy practice draws from my life experience as a mother, step-mother, grandmother and wife; as well as my work as a Certified Professional Midwife.

I graduated with a Master's of Psychology in Counseling from The Citadel in 2008, and have completed advanced training in multiple therapies for individuals including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, EMDR, Cognitive Processing Therapy, Mindfulness-based Therapy, a 7 month certificate training with Bessel Van der Kolk, and a 100 hour certificate training in psychedelic medicine with MAPS (Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelics Studies).

Additionally, I have completed extensive additional training in couple counseling with The Gottman Institute in Gottman Method Couples Therapy (Level I, Level II, Bringing Baby Home), Emotionally Focused Couple Therapy, an 18 months externship with Dr. Ellyn Bader of The Couples Institute, a 4 month certificate training in sex therapy, and Level 1 with Stan Tatkin of PACT.
